Wednesday Night Mountain Ride
When: 6:00pm Wednesday Evenings
Where: West Hartford Reservoir (meet at Central Wheel)
About: The ride starts out together but generally splits into 2 groups, an Advanced group and an Intermediate group. The intermediate group is a no drop group with multiple breaks and regroup points. Rides generally last for 1-2 hours.
Note: Please bring a light as we won’t always let darkness stop us.
Saturday Morning Road Ride
When: 9:00am Saturday Mornings
Where: Central Wheel
About: This is an advanced ride for cycling enthusiasts. There is generally a “short ride” about 30 miles and a “long ride” about 50 miles. Both rides REQUIRE proper road cycling etiquette, ability to ride in a “pace line,” road side mechanical abilities and supplies. A drop bar road bike is required for this ride.
Note: This ride is a Greater Hartford Cycling Club ride that Central Wheel allows use of its facilities for parking.
